Pay your bills on time.
PopPop’s Additional Comment: If you can pay your bills on time, you will get a lot of very good night’s sleep. If you can’t pay them on time, set up a plan to pay them off as quickly as possible—that too will let you have a good night’s sleep. I set up a plan to pay off the loan on our home early. When we made that last payment, we did not burn the loan documentation, instead, we went out to celebrate and had a wonderful meal at our favorite restaurant. It also gave me the security to realize that I now had a home free and clear. I did not have to pay any more loan payments on our home. I could either save the future payment amounts for our children’s college education or use the equity in the home to help with their college education.
Remember, that winners generally do what losers don’t want to do.

Measure people by the size of their hearts, not the size of their bank accounts.
